Kitchen Sink Transfomer
Team F.A.S.K. was given the task of redesigning the under-sink area. After examining how users interacted with the sink, we found that the area is perceived as dirty, yet its the same area that cleaning items are stored- its a sanitation contradiction. At the same time, the team discovered that not only was the space beneath the kitchen sink not integrated with the function, but it is one of the few areas within the kitchen space that had not evolved. In the end, the team investigated a concept where the sink is an appliance. Project deliverables included a project brief, a value proposition, video, and pamphlet explaining the design.
